Brad Elterman (born 1956, in Bervely Hills) shot his first celebrity photo by a stolen camera when he was only 16. He went backstage at the most legendary of concerts and took part to the craziest parties, circulated with the most acclaimed of stars: Bob Dylan, Duran Duran, The Dead Boys, Blondie, Michael Jackson, Madonna, John Travolta, among others.
His spontaneous pictures have been published in magazines and newspapers such as Creem Magazine, Circus Magazine, Rolling Stone, The New York Post, and constitute a glamorous testimony of the music and fashion scene in Los Angeles in the 70s and early 80s.
The cover of new book “Dog Dance” features a detail of one of his most famous photos. The book was at the center of a book signing last week at Colette Store, in Paris.
